I have a fourteen year old son who has been diagnosed with depression - he is on meds - I feel like I'm walking on egg shells - what's depression and what's teenage bad behavior? Is there anyone else out there that is going through this? |

Was he suicidal? My oldest son went through that when he was around 16 or 17. He said he wasn't suicidal but he was writing poetry that sounded that way. He didn't go on meds. I wrote letters to him and would leave them on his bed, hugged him a lot and tried to get him to talk. He came out of it but it took awhile. Good luck. |
