txmomjd New Member	posted 10-15-2006 10:29 PM Why is dating again so hard? I am 31yrs old and have 2 children that live with me. I just can't find a nice guy who wants the same things. Most of the men I meet are wanting to do the club scene. I want a family again. I cry myself to sleep almost every night. I hate what my kids and I are doing without.

I think it's different for us adults-- we yearn for adult companionship and love. And, I think it's easy for us parents to assume that our kids are yearning for the same things we do. They're not wishing for a new man in your life the same way you are. They're needing all the love and support you have to give them. I hope you'll be good to yourself and respect yourself. A happy, strong mom is a loving and caring mom!
