Hi everybody, My bf has a big jpb decision to make that also has a lot to do with our relationship since we're two hours away from each other. He's having a difficult time deciding which career move to make. Will you all please pray for Larry that he makes the decision that is in God's will for his and possible "our" life? Thank you! (He has to make the decision tomorrow.) |

Thanks everyone for your prayers. The board gave Larry a raise at his job and the other one that was closer had some snags so he's staying with his job. We spent a lot of time talking about it and I told him I don't want him to take a job that he wouldn't be happy in just so we're closer. I would feel responsible if he wasn't happy. So for now, we still need to deal with the distance Yesterday was an emotional day...my oldest son started college and my junior got into some trouble. Some of the football players went to a party last weekend where there was beer and they were called into the office by the coach. My son admitted he drank and another boy admitted it too but most of them lied about it. Now Zach and the other boy have to sit the first two quarters of the game. Life is hard! Thanks again for your prayers. |

Hi everyone. Here I am over a year later. Larry ended up taking that job even though his intuition told him not to...I think to try to save our relationship. It didn't feel right to me because I knew his intuition was telling him not to take it, but he did anyway. Now, we are closer but we still haven't been able to move forward. He doesn't like his job and I'm still raising my youngest son, although he's a senior now. It's hard to know which way to go when we pray. Do you ever know for sure what God is telling you to do? There have been times when I clearly hear a message from God, but that is rare. What do you guys think? I'm confused about it. I feel like God is telling me to let this relationship go. |

Leigh its great to hear from you again! Sorry things arent going the way you had hoped. Just keep praying the answer will come to you. It will just be in His time not ours. If letting go is what you are feeling pulled to do, then it might be Him telling you this relationship has served it's purpose and you need to move on. I wish you luck in whatever descion you make, either way it won't be easy. |
