Anytime He is willing to bestow a blessing on me......I'M READY! I'M WAITING! ANYTIME! Bring it on, Father...bring it on.

I think I may be due for a heavenly blessing, so here I am with open arms, foot tapping, waiting for it. (praying for patience, here, could use a little help on this one!) Seems like we all need some patience.

Today I read Acts 1:11. Made me laugh out loud, because I'm thinking, "Someday my Prince will come!" BWA-HA-HA!!

Sometimes it's tough to get yourself in the right frame of mind regarding what's the most important.

Does anyone else have some inspiring verses? Or verses regarding patience?

I'm right there with you MN. I'm wondering how patient God is preparing me to be. I am SO ready for a change!!! I was on my hands and knees tonight praying for guidance and wisdom and change. I wish a verse would pop into my mind so that I could help, but I need help too. I want to move so badly but my oldest son is really set against it. I need a fresh start. If I find a verse I'll get back on here and share it.

Read Psalm 138. A pastor that was at my church told me that he felt led to tell me about verse 8 - The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me: your love, O Lord, endures forever - do not abandon the works of your hands.

Patience is defined as "calm endurance". I'm not always very good at the calm part...I worry and don't feel content a lot. The only time I really feel content is when I'm trusting God completely. I was looking back in Psalms and I have a lot of passages marked.
Psalm 71:20-21: "Though you have made me see troubles many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up. You will increase my honor and comfort me once again."
There are a lot of times where David didn't sound patient either...Psalm 70:5: "Come quickly to me O God. You are my help and my deliverer; O Lord, do not delay."
I pray this for all of us:
Psalm 67:1: "May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine upon us."

Lindsay....are you okay??

When was the last time you did something for fun for yourself??

Sometimes, god helps those who help themselves.

Take a break and relax

All times are CT (US)
