Well, Lexie and I officially leave for DC on the 6th at like 4am (YUK)!! I have an interview on the 7th at 8:30 am. Not hte ideal job, but it is something until I can find a job in my field. Pay is great, full benifits, get this including pet insurance, really who does that?
So even if my current job doesn't allow me to transfer, hopefully this will pan out and I will have a jopb pretty soon.

I am finally excited about the move an dabout life. It really feels like this is going to be a good year. I am ready to start dating again, yeah wasn't sure I would ever really feel that way but I am ready not because I have been lonly but because for some reason the other day it just clicked that I am finally on track with my life and have something to offer and that is what I have been waiting to feel before I started dating.
I have a degree and will be getting my Ph.D, a good job, I am getting my credit cleaned up by the end of this summer anything on there will be paid off and then I can start the rebuilding process and buy a condo or townhouse. I looked into a gym that is close to my apt so I can work out an dLEx is old enough to go with me so I don't have ne excuse.

I am truly happy for you! I think that was such a smart thing to do was to wait until you felt good about yourself and had your life on track and had something to offer before you thought about dating..I sure as heck wish I had thought like that!! Such good advice to give to a single mother!!!
Good luck on your move and your new job!!!

Thanks everyone. I am really getting excited and nervous I know it is going to cost more than I want but everything will fall into place when it is meant to.
