I am new at this thing. I am 26, I have a son who's 4 and a daughter who's 1 and their birthdays were saturday. I want to go back to school but I have no clue where to look for grants and money. I checked out a Women in Construction Trades. I would like to get my certification in Welding or maybe my Applied Science Degree in Welding Technology....but anyone who can help me....please do so.

Thanks

The first step would be the finacial aid office at the school. They will give you the FAFSA forms to fill out for grants, aid and if needed student loans. They should also be able to point you in scholarship directions. Another good place for scholarships is www.fastweb.com. if you are working I would also look into tuition reimbursment through your employer, you woul be surprised how many offer it and people just don't know. Good luck.
