So that was supposed to say got a JOB not jop
So Starbucks finally called back after oh ummmmmmm 2 months of this cr**. They offered me a position starting Monday, pay is good. It should at least be enough to get me to DC and my hours should be pretty stable so I can try and find a pt job doing something to pull down some extra cash.
I feel bad that I am going to leave in four months, but oh wait they put me off for 2 months nevermind!Still need to come up $300 today, but having faith having faith.

Good for you, i am so pleased for you.

I am thinking of giving up my nursing job as the hours have been cut so much and just starting to do cleaning as it pays so much more.

Once again well done and good luck

Thanks,
I hear you Jay Jay, I would love to say I am taking my dream job and the pay doesn't matter, but as single parents the pay does matter and the hours and all that stuff. Even if I don't want to I can say that I am transferring with the comp when I move therefore having a job for rental apps etc. and then just take a different job once I get there.
Good luck in your choice, I am thinking maybe housecleaning or something for some extra money and I can work around my schedule that way.

Congratulations! Yeah now at days it’s amazing what they put you through just to hire you. Once at my last job we were looking for a part time file clerk. The poor guy had to go through 5 interviews before we hired him. What happen to the old days when they would hire you right on the spot?

Hi JayJay,

I'm glad you stood up to her. You'll find a better client than she was.
