cgracec Member	posted 11-15-2005 12:48 PM I am starting the process of looking for a new job. Recently, I had the opportunity for a promotion and turned it down. They were offering me a 3% pay increase for 40% more work. So, they restructured the dept and gave me the work without the pay increase. I am not happy. Today, I have spent the enture morning sending out resumes. I am also looking for a second job to help over the holidays. My ex stopped the child support which wasn't much but I am trying to payoff the expenses incurred over the last 12 months by my son's irresponsible behaviour. Two years ago I only had a house and a car payment. Today I have more debt than I have ever had and I want to get it paid off quickly. I am not going to do that with the job that I have. A second job will accomplish the goal of getting me out to meet people and help ease my financial burdens. The whole job thing is frustrating because I was hoping to start classes again in January to finish my degree. It looks like I won't be able to afford it or fit it in my schedule.
