There wre times in my life I wondered what it would be like to actually enjoy the job that I was doing. Man do I love the fact that I have fun at my work and that I am being appreciated for the job that I do. It has been a long time since I have felt that way and I must say it is a pretty awesome feeling. I know that as my kids grow older I want them to find something that enjoy as much as I do this. |

I know what you mean.I spent 18 years at home with a home based craft business. (while my children were growing up) I loved doing that but it was hard when I became a single parent. (eight years ago)What had become a paying hobby had to support myself and my three kids and it was a constant struggle.The stress and worry sucked the life out of me. I decided I needed to get a "real" job, with a pay check and benefits. Three years ago I went back to school and got my PSW certifate and now I work in a Nursing home. I cannot even imagine doing anything else. I don't stress about money any more and I am doing something I love. Who could ask for anything more? And as an added bonus,my hobby is once again a hobby, which gives me a little extra cash for things like Christmas. |

I understand completely. Nothing makes a day longer than working in a job you don't like. Fortunatley, I like what I do and work with great people. My only complaint is the pay. |
