Hi all, I thought I would share a cute story. My son who is 9 had a phone call from one of his friends.Well, when they were done talking his friend's little sister called. She's three years younger. My son calls her "a younger woman".(LOL) Any ways she says to my son "Hi Riley what are you doing?" and he say's "Playing video games" so there was this long pause and she said "You should go ride your bike" so he says"OK Bye" and hangs up on her. I then explained to him that when a girl calls and asks questions he's supposed to talk back and stuff. Well he goes to a School of the Arts and for the talent show he decides to do a comedy routine(keep in mind this little girl and her brother go to the same school)He stands up on stage and decides to use this as part of his routine. Well as he get's to the part about talking to the girl on the phone he says "I didn't know that when a girl calls you you are supposed to talk back and ask questions and stuff. Who knew? It's called a" (he then uses quote marks with his fingers) "conversation....Anyways.. I think I'm too young for "(finger quotes again)"conversations with girls...They speak a WHOLE other language" I about fell off my chair laughing and so did the audience....How true that statement is. |

Thank you Bluebird... I thought so too. I got it on tape and everyone (even the Performing arts director) said I should send it into the Improv. But if he's too young to have "conversations" with girls then I think he might be too young for the Improv!  |
