So Lex decided a few weeks ago she was dating my best friends son, because well his sister and her are best friends, so they could be sisters if they got married. poor eddie didn't even get a say in the matter. Well after a few weeks she decided it was to ohard because he lives in Reno and well he is too shy. THey have of course picked out thier childrens names by that point. So she started "dating" a boy at school. Saturday he straightend her hair and helped her with her makeup (ok little scared now). Then last night she and I are talking and she says they are going to Rochester institue for the deaf in NEw York for college and then getting married (at 7:30p) so later that night I am with my study group and she starts im'ing me to complain about her knee and everything else. She then tells me that they broke up because he doesn't talk as much as her.
Wow less than two hours, longest engagment rerding in history. Unless you are Brittnay spears.

I know what you mean. My daughters are 13 and 14 and I just can't keep up with who they are "going out" with at any given moment. My 13 year old was "going out" with a 14 year old for 2 weeks. I thought this would be the first heartbreaker for her, but when she told me he "broke up" with her she didn't seem broken up at all. Oh how I dread that first heartache for each of them. For those of you not in the know, most of the "going out" at this age is in statement only. They don't really date. The talk online and at school. They attend each others sporting events, go to the movies or meet at the mall, both with a group of friends.
