You have my sympathy- haha. How old is your daughter? My 16 yr. old has started dating a girl who seems really sweet but I heard that she's "easy". God help us!!

oh good luck. Lex is on the 4th boyfriend since school started. Every other day I have to hear about a new guy. She broke up with one because he didn't play enough sports, one got a b on a test. One couldn't beat her at basketball, though I am sure if he had she would have dumped him because he hurt her feelings. SHe is far to rough on the poor little boys. I have no idea what I am going to do when a boyfriend means more to her and her group of friends than a boy you hang out with after school and im to each other. Welcome to the teenage years, we ar in for a long road over the next few years.
P.S wait til boys start hitting on you little girl, that really changes things she called me monday because two boys liked her and wanted to be her boyfriend and she wasn't sure how to pick one or if she should pick on. Her bday party was def. interesting, two older boys who like her versus two boys her age who are in love with her. she was trying not to ignore any of them, my girlfriends and I had to help her out from time to time in between laughing our butts off.
Well good luck.

I like Shawn's idea. It doesn't become an issue until he responding to her attention. Then pull out the shotgun! =)

Ha Ha Richard, i think it is a bit late she already has a better social life than me. I think it is so funny as i am not allowed to say a word about him to anyone in case he finds out she likes him, is`nt love sweet..
I now know which boy he is, saw him the other day, a thin, spotty blond boy who plays the drums in a little band. He said that if she learns to play an instrument she could join them.. i see more money having to change hands for music lessons, in my crystal ball..
Of course like most of us my first crush was good looking and handsome, what ever my daddy may have said about him..LOL.
Will keep you posted. -x-x-

What is it with girls and guys in bands. My little one ok, not little anymore has the nugest crush on this boy in a band. His band actaully has a cd and plays at places around town. So mom got stuck driving her and her friends to see them play Saturday night so she could stand in the front row and bat her eyelashes. He made sure he gave a a drum stick (eww, all sweaty and gross) and a cd. I on the onther hand hung out with the old people in the back trying to save our hearing.
Ohh young love. Luckily she only sees him on occasion. I sypmathize Jay Jay, we are in big trouble. maybe we could send them to a convent together?

Hi, i love the convent idea, i work in a convent so tomorrow i will be putting her name down. The boy is now asking lots of questions like " who do you fancy ect.." and my daughter being my daughter told him that she didnt fancy anyone, because boys are wierd, i dont think she has the hang of this boy, girl thing yet. We now have to drive home from school a long way round as we pass his house, what fun!. Shame he hasnt got a single dad, it would make it worth it for me lol.

She had her hair cut from waist length to shoulder length at the weekend, the girls at school all thought it was REALLY COOL,the BOY didnt even notice, i just could not stop laughing when she told me, she has so much to learn about boys..-x-x-

funny I think are daughters are related. She got her hair cut and dyed a few weeks ago, everyone thought it was beuatiful and she looked really cool with it (black with brown highlights) and the one little boy who walks on water in her eyes didn't even notice. HSe has a little boy who just started high school who has a major crush on her, made hi fatrher drive 45 minutes to her birthday and then back again that night to see aband play, sends me emails (at least he is trying to get on moms good side) Bought her present with her own money, sits right behind her on the bus when they are heading back to school. Everytime she starts IMing her friends on her sidekick, he taps her shoulder to chat. It's quite cute, but mom said no because he is in hs. It is really getting cute to watch the way boys act around her, especially ones we have known for years and she has always been just one of the boys, now she is turning into such a beuatiful young lady they aren't sure what to do.

Its the hormones, for her and them. Boys act mean at times and well girls cry or yell. THat one week a month I try to avoid any conversations.
LExie has informed me that she has a knew boyfriend. Iam not sure he really got a say in the matter, he is my best friends son, and her best friends little brother (he is 5 months younger than lex, her friend is ayear older than she is) So holly and lex decided perfect way for them to be sisters is for lex to marry eddie. Should I be saving for the wedding now?

Don`t you just love being a woman, become a teen and your mind and body go mad, get to middle age and the same thing happens lol. I would start saving anyway, the DAY WILL COME soon enough. How old is Lexi? Sounds like her friend and herself have it all planned out. Goodluck to the boy. -x-x-

I agree glad i had a girl, i think our two would get on just fine together lol, the boy in question was not at school due to illness today, so i told her to find one less sickly lol. Richard what you need is girlfriend for him with a single mom for you.. just a thought...
My daughter is five foot 8 , 1/2 and very slim, and only 13, i think that things will only get worse for me !

Watch this space, when i am ready to jump i will let you all know.lol -x-x-
