Does anyone know of a successful bid for extended child support beyond age 18 for a child entering college?? I live in Ohio and am a single parent. My ex also lives in Ohio and is famous for avoiding/reducing child support. He has a two income household and she receives support for her two minor children from her ex. Any info. would be great |

Try calling the court to see what the rules are. In NJ, the custodial parent can collect up to age 23 if the child is enrolled in an accredited college or university on a full time basis. C/S can be collected even if the child is away at school. Perhaps you can even google it. What do your property settlement papers say? Was this addressed in them?
