heather5845 New Member	posted 05-31-2008 08:16 PM I am so scared. I have a seven month old daughter. Her father and I were never married. He wants to have her overnights as soon as she turns one year. The problem is that he has not seen her in 7 weeks and he has only seen her a total of 10 times prior to that. None of those visits were ever more than 2 hours. We went to mediation and we not able to agree on anything so it is going to go before the judge. Anyone had a similar situation ? What kind of visitations were awarded to a father with an infant if he has hardly been in her life. Please help !!!

I am in england mores the pity, so the law is different here, but i know here if the parents were not married etc and there were problems, then he basically had no rights. I hope love that you get this sorted. i had a similar problem with my ex husband. take care. from michelle

If he wants to wait until she is one to have her overnight then take the time until then for him to establish regular unsupervised visits for a few hours at a time. They need each other so think positively and proactively about it all. god bless
