Hey just, a warning about this company and supportcollectors.com. I signed up with one of them years ago, when I was getting the occassional 100 check every other month. All they did was basically filter the money that was going to the DA and take 30% of it nad send me a check for the the remaining $70. They never did anything above what the DA had already done, they just took a % of what I was at the time already getting.
I have heard stories, not from anyone I personaly know, that say they have actually collected thier back support. Just a fair warning, the support kids, charges an initial $500 that comes out of your first payments and then they take 30% of everything else. Supportcollectors.com doesn't charge the $500 but takes 30% .
Just a fyi

That’s terrible that an agency would take advantage of people who are already getting screwed.

I thank God although my ex has an evil side and tried in the beginning to stiff me on child support that I immediately took action and personally served his job and had his paychecks garnished. Each pay period they automatically transferred the funds into my acct.

Have any of you tried doing that?

Yeah my ex just quits his jobs and then works under the table.
The DA in Dc is willing to take it up with the IRS, so the first week I am in DC I am at the DAs office. He has been wokring for his moms business under the table and well any parent who allows thier 34 year old child to screw his own child out of money she deserves I have no problem turning over to the IRS. Maybe it's not very christian of me, but I would never allow my child to do that, that is your grandchild!

To Lexiesmom...the father of my 13 mo old has never paid me a dime in child support and doesnt get a job so he doesnt have to pay..he only works under the table..i have heard this from people he knows. He has only seen her 3 times and the last time was last Christmas Day. My caseworker told me that now they can't verify his address...his parents are lying for him about where he lives and that he isnt staying with them...he and they live right down the street from me and I see him at his house..which his parents own and I see him at his parents house but they are lying for him...they also have never seen their grandchild...family of losers...anyway..i was told as long as they are lying for him and they cant verify his address that i wont ever get child support...any advice? what was it you were saying about the IRS?

I am waiting til I get to DC to turn it over the the agency there because the one here well sucks! I takled to a worker in DC about contacting the IRS because he is woring under the table for his mothers company so, if I can't get him well I am at least going to make her suffer a bit for allowing him to lie and basically steal from his own child!
