can the child support angency take my money that i put in the bank even tho im paying my child support by automaticly having a percentage taking out of my checks? |

I am not a lawyer, so please don't take this for the law. My ex was behind in child support so when he got his tax return - they took all of it (or at least that is what he told me). I don't think that they took it out of his account, I think they intercepted before that. Anyway - They didn't ask or even tell him, they just did. I don't know if that helps you at all, but I hope so! |

I don't think you should be complaining if you owed it you owed it it is for the support of your child. Women that take care of the kids twenty four seven have money taken out of their accounts for everything the child needs so the little discomfort you have every month for child support should be no problem |

Yes,unfortunately,the child support agency can put a lien on your property,bank account,etc.//You need to join a men's group immediately and get legal help.It is their thinking that YOU don't have to pay bills and buy gas,lunch,etc.I see that you have received some very crass replies such as you owed it and mothers pull money out of their bank accounts....that is very different than having the government do it.One is free will and the ability to manage money,the other is outright communism.This outrage must be stopped.A free society should not and cannnot be run this way.May God be with you. |
