As you all know this year has been hell one way or another for myself and my family. Things are getting better with my father, he is coming on slowly. I have been using my angel cards a lot in the past few months. I am a believer in that we all have a angel looking out for us. I asked my angel for some advice about if i was doing the right thing about work, my angel card said that if a door opens i should take the chance and walk through it. It said i would have a sign of a white feather, if i found three the same day or time that would be the sign it would work. That day i found three feathers one after the other, and since then every time i have been to work somewhere since i have found three. I feel that things may work out for me. GOD BLESS. XXXX

Hi JayJay,That's amazing!! I too believe we each have a guardian angel that helps out when we're in need. Tell me more about these angel cards. How are things going with your new cleaning clients? Better than the kinky woman, I hope. |

i definately believe in angels--- heavenly ones that somehow minister to us and help protect us, and then there are those very special 'earth' angels, people who are so precious you wonder if they're hiding a pair of wings under their jacket!! |

Because Jay JAy rbougth it up, has anyone ever heard the pennies from heaven story? If not I will share because I love it and it has often guided me in the right direction. The story goes that there are three tolls to pay on your way to heaven (not sure where the idea of bridges came from, but I have heard it a few times). So when someone you love passes on you bury them with three pennies in thier pocket so they have the money to pay the tolls on thier way. And then when you need it they will send one back to show you the way, or just to remind you hey I am still here wathcing over you. I know we have all found pennies, but somtimes you have to look at when you find them. Getting out of the car to go to an interview, that day you are feeling down and you think no one is there, In the oddests places that they never could have got to on thier own. There is a story of a woman who had lost her son a few months back, and he always drank grape juice the frozen kind. and she was cleaning out her freezer one day and under the can of juice was a penny. I was having a rought time when I was making my choice about grad school and just feeling really alone. Well needless to say I am a neat feak everything has a place and it must be in the place I walk in the door change goes in the cup onthe microwave never in a pocket, and rarely in my purse. My purse hangs on the hook by the front door. I had company who was coming down in afew days so I was cleaning and putting things where they belonged. I came across a book on Dc that I had never even openedI was carrrying it to the bookshelf when I tripped dropped the book and it fell open, and in the middle of the book was one lonely little penny, later that night assured of my descion to move but still feeling lonely, I pulled the blankets abck on the bed, which I make every morning and Lex was still at school during the week at this time so I am the only one in the house. Pull the sheets back go to climb in and there are 3 little pennies neatly sitting in the middle of my bed on under the top sheet. Over the years I have my little collection, not ones I find everyday, but ones I find and seem to be in jus the right place. They sit in thier own little jar now and when I am feeling like no one is there I just have to look to remember that there is someone or ones looking after me. |

I too know the story of the pennies, when my daughters rabbit died we put a penny in with him, made my daughter feel better when she found a penny. Angels come in all sorts of forms, Some Angels are earth bound, if you ever meet someone who is so kind or does you such a good turn, they maybe earth Angels. Angels can also be animals. We all do have a Guardian Angel, who watches over us and is there in times of need, even if we have know idea they are there. Next time you feel you need yours call on it and it will be there for you, sometimes they need to be called. Sometimes when we think we see someone out of the corner of our eye, that may well be your or someone elses Angel. A month ago i was very down and as i walked from the bathroom to my bedroom pasted my daughters room she call out to me that there was a child holding my hand, hope it was real, like to think it was and it was someone making me feel better. My daughter and i use the cards a lot. -x-x- |

about 2 or 3 yrs ago in the few days leading up to Christmas, one night me and my daughter were just sitting quietly in front of the CHristmas tree before bedtime, the lights were on and we were just quietly enjoying the tree, and the season and all, and after about 15 minutes we heard a faint bell, it was not loud but subtle but loud enough we both heard it at the same time. Then i could sense there was someone else there, kind of a very very slight breeze that lasted about 1-2 seconds. I just spontaneously said excitedly, 'a Christmas angel, Loll!' and she was sitting there trying to see or listen more and we both got goosebumps, and then she got scared and we went in the other room. I didnt tell her that but i wondered if it was Andrew, her older brotherwho died before he was born...his due date would have been....December 10, 3 yrs before she came along! Was it Andrew coming to say hello, to his mom and sister around the time of his birthday? I dont know. It could have just been a 'regular' angel!! EIther way, we were blessed!! |

I love the magazine "Angels on Earth" however, I wish it came out more often than what it does.About 10 years ago, when my son's father and I split up, I moved out to the country with my Aunt who was retired and had 2 houses in 2 different states and traveled the world as her hobby. It was "our" understanding when I moved in I would pay minimal rent and take care of the cats, dogs, horses, yard etc. While my son suffered the hardship of not having his father around at that young of an age, he started sleep walking. One night/morning at apx. 3am, our good neighbor called the house because she was afraid of the fact that someone was pounding at her door at this time of the morning and she wanted back-up. My sister (who was staying there) and myself loaded the dog in the car and tore off down the road to her house. Well, imagine my surprise to see my son standing there with his beloved stuffed "Monkey" in tow, P.J.'s and barefoot in the neighbors house. She finally got brave enough to open the door and found my son at her door crying in hysterics and he was still sleepwalking. It was all emotional distress of his father and my seperation. However, I swear he had an angel on his side guiding him to safety. This child had opened a door, walked apx. 1/8 of mile down a dirt gravel road in barefeet, dragging monkey along. Mind you, the roadway ditches are very deep and wide in this particular area, there is a swamp on one side of the road and woods on the other and he hated walking barefoot on any type of gravel. One wrong turn and this child, I don't even want to think about what would have happened. I asked him how he got to the neighbors house and he replied at 4 years old that he didn't know how and doesn't remember but, you tell me! I swear he had an Angel on his shoulder! I can't figure out how he made it down the street without falling in the swamp, taking a wrong turn and ending up in the woods or just getting run over by a car. Just thought I would share that because I strongly believe that we have "Our" personal guardian Angels. Someone looked out for my child that morning! |
