With all that is going on in the news today I think that all of us single parents should pray together for the parents who's children are now at War fighting for our country, and pray likewise for the children who's parents are over there. I also think that we should pray together for our president, whether we agree with him or not, that he have the strength and wisdom to lead our country during this time. |

Hi Haily'smom...Hope all is well with you! I am certainly with you. We are at war whether you agree or disagree. Though I believe in democracy and the expressions of ones belief, I also believe at this present time that prayer is a more powerful tool than marching with signs. It is quite obvious that this war is not going to go away until it's main objective is carried out. Until then, I will do my part in praying for our President, this Nation, our troops, the Middle East and for all of the children and family members of those serving! Many Blessings...Marilyn |

Marilyn, How is everything going with you and your boys? Are you all still taking classes at the YMCA? I have to admit I have been slacking on my pilates lately. I plan on getting back into it soon though. My daughter will be turning 2 next Saturday and I am busy planning a little party for her, Blue's Clues of course. lol I got her a swing set and tomorrow will be my fun day to put it together, wish me luck, I will need it. I think that we should all pray today for Shoshawna Johnson the single mother who is now a POW, lets pray for her safe return and for her family. |

Oh my, I haven't heard about her. I don't know how I missed this story but will certainly pray for her safety and for her family. Does anyone on this sight have family or friends that are serving right now? Maybe we can share specific names and commit to praying for each of them. Many Blessings to all of you! Marilyn |

Never have I been more certain of the power of prayer. The single mother that I posted about weeks ago was one of the POW's that was rescued yesterday. Isn't that wonderful? |

I was so excited to hear about the release of the POW's yesterday! My prayers continue to go out to all of the MIA's! In this sometimes out of control world, it is always a comfort to know that we have a God who is always in Control! Many Blessings...Marilyn |
