I have been having migraines more and more of late.

At the weekend i had one that started Saturday and didnt go untill Monday.
Tuesday i felt washed out and c**p.

Tuesday morning about 6 am i was making my bed,
i walked round the bed after making it and fell flat on my face, hitting the blanket box, rad, ect, brusing my ribs and covering myself with cuts and bumps.

I want to know, is it OLD AGE getting to me?

Later on that day i read my stars in the paper and it said ( you will be going through a clumsy phase in your life)

There not wrong, i have done something clumsy every day this week.

My side and arm still hurt like hell, i am in so much pain, and letting all know about it,lol.

PS any ideas how to get rid of the headaches as my med is not working.

When my migraines are bad, I use an eye mask to hit pressure points and a lavender neck pillow, one of the ones you heat up. I cut back on caffiene but don't quit it entirely because well then I have a whole different headache. I would call your doctor and make sure ntohing else is going on, perhaps an Ear nose throat doctor, they are really good about migraines, but I would be concerned about the dizziness as it can be a result of other things as well. Any ringing in the ears? Or just the headache?

Just aline to say that my side is aching, but some of the pain is due to laughing a lot with a friend i have been talking to on the phone not long ago,

( you know who you are.)

I can handle the pain as it is from a good source.

I will get things checked out with my doc, if no joy i will just have fun with my good friends. They say laughing cures all.

Our hormones can wreak real havoc--- how old are you, JayJay? If you don't want to answer, I understand!

I'm 45 and the perimenopausal symptoms are really throwing me for a loop. I could list them, but our site would crash.

Hot flashes are just the curtain call!

HOT FLUSHES, HOT FLUSHES, dont talk to me about hot flushes.

I am 42 and started the menopause at 37 or as we call it in my family the mental-pause.

I have taken back every thing i said in jest to my mother when she started hers.

I am on meds for panic attacks ect, i gave in and went on them as i was sick of not being in control of my own mind, something that means a lot to me.

I was on HRT for a while but blew up like a football, lol.

Its great getting old, your bones crack, you forget things and the wrinkles, OMG the wrinkles, lol
I am forever dropping things, and walking into a room and not remembering what i went in for.

Never mind, it all makes for a good time.

Dont ache quiet as much this morning, time will tell after i have been to work today, will let you know how i feel.

JayJay,
I mentioned before asking if you have had any ringing in the ears, I ask because. It sounds like what you are describing are symptoms of vrtigo, nausea, dizziness etc. If you are also experiencing ringing in one or both ears it could be Menier's which unfortunatly is more common in women than man.

All times are CT (US)
