If you have gotten smaller but haven’t lost any weight, that means your fat has turned to muscle, that’s a good thing. You go girl! |

I wish you lived closer too! Arizona has some beautiful hiking trails and when I want to get in shape I hit the mountains on the weekends. I don't own a scale because I refuse to coordinate my life around a # on the scale. I gauge my weight by how I feel, dress size, and how I look. If you are getting smaller, fat is turning into muscle which increases your metabolism and burns more calories. You will see a difference on the scale soon! Congratulations! |

I did the depressing task of measuring my ample sections to monitor how many inches I lose. Ick! My hips came in at 40"!!! Anyway, I have to check the scale daily. It's compulsive now! I did the inch measurements to keep track of what really matters. Even though I'm losing the weight it's such a slow process! I can cautiously say that I'm down to 139. Only another 15 pounds to go!! |

I went out tonight walking and "trying" to run too. It's so humid in Ohio that when I got home I was a drenched, disgusting mess. But, it felt good! I think light weights at home (I do 20 minutes 3 times a week with 10 pound weights) along with aerobics (I try 2-4 miles of walking/running 5-6 days a week) is the key along with not eating after 6-7:00 p.m. Of course we need to choose healthy foods and skip the butter and whole milk too. I'm 41, 5'6", 125 pounds...not so bad! ha! |

Leigh - You must be a little hotty! I've been working hard at not eating after 8. If I could get it to 6-7, that would be great! I've revamped my eating for the most part. I still have milk and butter, but I control the portions most of the time. For snacks, I mostly have fruit for snacks. It sucks, but I'm enjoying the results! |

I forgot to mention that I tried on some takinis the other day. I didn't look too bad! The only issue I have is that my breasts fall out of the bloody thing!!! Do they make decent swimsuit for big breasted babes? |

Sorry, can't help you there. One of the things that goes along with me weighing 125 lbs. is small boobies! |

the bathing suits for swimmers with the sports bra for a top. I started wearing those when I was swimming with the kids so they couldnt rip it off of my body I would never fit in to one of those little things [This message has been edited by lkellyhappy1 (edited 06-12-2005).] |

Yes they do make bathing suits for big breasted ladies. You need to go to a place where they sell the tops and bottoms individually. Get fitted for a top. The cost doesn't come out to that much more than an off the rack two piece, they fit so well that they won't fall off in the water, they don't wear thin as quickly, and they don't break! |
