hello this is new to me but i am desperate and need advice. my ex and i dated for 3 years..i became pregnant and he told me if i did not have an abortion he wanted nothing to do with me or the child a complete brick to my face. i chose to keep the baby. My ex and his family left me in the dust and told me they wanted nothing to do with me or the baby..and told me to have fun being a single mom because nobody would want me. I was so upset i ended up having a misscarriage. rumors are going around town saying i misscarried, had an abortion, had the baby premie, and/or i am still pregnant. when people ask me what happened i say "my lawyer suggests i should not talk about it" which my lawyer did tell me and told me not to respond to my ex with the satisfaction of telling him. now my ex's family went to a lawyer who wrote me a letter saying it is my ex's legal right as a parent to know if i had his child or if i am carrying his child because the rumors around town say otherwise. and i have 5 days to respond. i dont want to give him the satisfaction of knowing for what he did to me which lead me to mis-carry. so my question is after his family told me they wanted nothing to do with me or the baby do i still have to respond to the lawyer if i am pregnant or not? i will not see my lawyer till tuesday. Thanks. |

I'm so sorry for your pain. You don't have to do anything, they can't make you do anything. Ignore them completely and just move on... |
