My husband feels he can come and go as he pleases since he pays all the bills. He will not go to a lawyer and get anything legalized, and since I am not working I have no income. I have one teen daughter and 14mth old twin girls. Any suggestions on how to handle this situation. |

if you are trying to get a divorce then you must get an attorney, this is necessary to protect your rights and to get what you and your children need. Even though you don't have an income you have options to finding an attorney to take your case. First ask friends for a referral and then call and explain your situation, most allow some sort of payment plan which you will pay off from the money (alimony and child support) that they are able to secure for you, another option is to find an attorney through the legal aid office (which may or may not acceot your case), in any event I am sure one of these two options will get you what you need. |
