As part of my divorce my ex and I were ordered to undergo a psychological exam. This was ordered in Feb 05. I went to mine but it took my ex 6 months to go. Anyway, when he did go he was dx with Axis 1 - substance abuse and Axis 2 - Antisocial Personality Disorder. My dx was nothing on Axis 1 and nothing on Axis 2. So, naturally concerned I contacted the psychologist to find out what exactly an antisocial personality is. After talking to him I am even more concerned about my 4 year olds safety. Has anyone else experienced this. Currently, my ex has supervised visitation every other Sunday. I am scared out of my mind that she could be allowed to be alone with him. ------------------ |

hi im sorry your worried i understand where you coming from i just seperated from my huband because he was mentaly and verbably abusing me and my children even tho he doesnt admit it or see it and hes trying to get primay custody cause he says im bipolar and hes only saying that because he doesnt want to have to pay me child support and thats the reason im writin this is to ask you why the ordered you both to go threw that i would like for the judge to order that for my husband and me if thats what it takes for him to have he was abused as a child by his father and i think that its realy starting to come out in my ex and it makes me worried or my children so i was just wondering do they do that in every divorce or was there a reason they had you both do it thanks . |

My ex was diagnosed with the same thing while he was in prison. He is very abusive verbaly, mentaly, also emotionaly I know how you feel. I will keep you in my thoughts, and pray for you of course! just keep on keepin on and know you are doing everything you can for your child! |
