I know that people are complaining about it, but as a single parent I am thrilled. Here in Massachusetts we have had universal health insurance for a while and it saved my butt.

I have been carrying the health and dental for a while, you know how that goes, and we were with out insurance for a while. (I ended up in-between jobs and I dont want to go into it)

It's always a worry that if something goes wrong we will be with out insurance. Now there is an alternative for those of us outside of the norm with only one parent.

I am also very happy that they are changing the age that you can carry your children on your insurance, I think it is 26 but I am not sure. So I should be able to carry my kids on my insurance through college. And if they leave school they will be able to have insurance no matter what.
