My name is Albert Link III and as a father of three and one on the way I sit and look at how fighting for my rights as a father has finally gotten me closer to having my children. After going through a messy abusive divorce, yes men do get abused, I made the hardest decision of my life, I left my children. I went to court and filed for divorce and joint custody and took my children every other weekend & by the grace of God we're making it. There is nothing like seeing my children laugh and smile when we spend time together. After 2 years I met my new wife & she has a wonderful loving relationship with my children. For all those divorced men and women out there, just because the marriage didn't work doesn't mean you can't parent and not be in the household. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. My ex-wife is still trying to come between my children and me but prayer will keep up together and soon I pray to have full custody of them. So keep your head up and keep doing the best you can as a parent. |
