Hi all,My name is Margaret. Currently I'm a sophomore at New York University studying journalism. Recently, we were assigned to pick an under-represented group in society and write about how new media (primarily the Internet) has affected this group/provided it with resources, help, or a support system. I chose single parents because it's an especially relevant topic to me (my mom raised me). I'd love to get your thoughts on this subject, so I've included a few questions. Any responses are welcomed and appreciated.
1. If you could describe your experience being a single parent thus far in a few sentences - how would you?
2. Do you think there's still a stigma with being a single parent? what makes you think this way?
3. How do you feel interacting with married parents? Do you feel uncomfortable or normal?
4. What's the best thing about being a single parent? The worst/
5. A funny anecdote?
Thanks for reading and any input
