Its the best of times. At 43 I find myself raising my daughter by myself with no help. Dispite the fact that discrimination is faced on a daily basis, we continue to grow, and take on the world together. Our cup is half full, please sit at our table and share. ------------------ |

as a young single parent I can understand where you are coming from. I had my son at 19 and now I am 30 and he is 11 and stands eye to eye with me lol. It is funny the way peole look at me when we go out now. everyone assumes i am his big sister. We were at a resturaunt the other week and I repremanded him for something, the waitress walking by said you better be nice to your little brother before he tells your mom on you! LMAO My son just looked confused and mummbled she is my mom. i thought that lady was going to have a heart attack no apology she just turned up her nose and walked away. |

It does have it's bad moments, but it gets better. It's worth it. |
