I am a newcomer to this site from Cleveland, Ohio and I thought that it would help if I could talk to other single parents out there. I have been a single mom for almost 8 years and I have 3 children, 13yr.old daughter, 10yr.old son and a 9yr.old son. We have had a lot of ups and downs throughout the years, but things seem to be on the right track. I do have to ask, for anyone who has teenage girls, what do you do when your daughter starts acting out at school? I have tried numerous things with her and it doesn't seem to be working! I have taken phone privileges away, t.v. time, no free time to be with friends and so far nothing has worked. She is only acting out in one class, but that is one to many for me and I am constantly getting phone calls from this teacher. I am at my wits end with this child and I don't know what to do. Please help! If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it.
