Hi
Am new to the site and was just wondering is it possible in this day and time to actually meet any decent guys who know how to act like a gentleman and not play games?

EXCUSE MY CAPS AN FLIPPIN BACK AND FORTH AT WORK AM NOT YELLING, TRY READING THE BOOK "ACT LIKE A LADY THINK LIKE A MAN" BY STEVE HARVEY. WAS A REALLY GREAT BOOK TO LEARN WHY WE GET THE REACTIONS AND THE "GAMES" THAT WE DO WITH MEN. MY FAVORITE WAS THE CHAPTER "THEY ARE CALLED STANDARDSGET SOME " LMAO KINDA HARSH BUT SOOOO TRUE. IF YOUR FEELINGS ARE EASILY HURT DONT READ IT BUT IS VERY GOOD ADVISE. IN THE MEAN TIME I AM HAPPY JUST BEING ALONE AND WITH MY SON. :0)

Sabrina's right. Patience is a vertue. And if something is forced or "searched" That is where we settle for something that will due, but not nessesarily what is best. Your children are the most important thing in your life and if you raise them well perhaps your reward will be finding someone great to spend your life with long after your children grow up and move out. For some of us, the reality is that this will not be the case, but I am led to beleive that if we do not find our happiness with another person, perhaps it wasnt meant to happen due to the fact that it could potentially have jepordized the family we already have.

I am certainly not looking for anyone right now, my life is a bit upsidedown. But wanted to get the guys opinion on something. Mostly because I would like to date AND on the off chance I meet someone....

Okay so here it is....if you were told by a woman that her daughter is going though chemo-therapy would you run in the other direction?

That is why my life is upsidedown, and why I am not looking to date someone. My focus is on my 7 year old. But with my luck, this is when I AM going to meet someone, and since we will be going for chemo for the next year and 1/2.....it is probable; And as long as she is well, she will go to her dads house to see him for his weekends. Which leave me free to date everyother weekend.

Most of me says don't tell, but the fact of the matter is that this IS my life and while it is not something I would offer up on a first date it is not something I would want to "hide" from someone whom I was dating.

So, guys your thoughts?

All times are CT
