I am new here. I am a single mother of three and when I say single, I mean single as in no family or friends to speak of. friends in this small town usually consist of people that drink to much, are promiscuous, party hard, and generally just don't really care about much. i guess you could say there is really no one to talk to. I don't have long term relationships due to the partying and stuff and this is a small town so most men are married. i guess I just wanted to know if there is anyone out there....... |

Yes there are people out there. I actually found someone that was wonderful, caring, and a great person. I didn't work out due to parenting differences, so I guess it's time to go look again. Keep trying, you'll find someone eventually. |

yeah I guess finding someone is not so important anyways. tomorrow is my birthday and I will celebrate with my kids which is a decent thing to do but it sucks to be the only adult in my family. I cannot tell the kids about how birthdays make me extremely depressed. |

It's not that hard to do it alone, but I agree with you, it is so much better when you have another adult to share your experiences with. That's what is the hardest for me. I know i can do this alone and accept that, I just don't want to! |
