Men Suck....okay so not ALL men. But between my ex and the guy I was just dating my opinion is not a very good one. I wont get into what happened...just a lot of head games with a guy that was 8 years younger. But I want to offer this advice. One very important thing I learned in therapy while I was going through my divorce was to listen to the behaviors of an individual as opposed to what thier words are. I had forgotten all about that until my gut kept telling me something was not right about this guy I was casually dating. For a very specific reason, I walked away from him. But then he came after me apologizing and saying all the right things. However, his behavior contradicted those words. Lucky for me, our schedules never worked out again so I never went on a date with him after that incident (we only talked about seeing eachother again).

So for those of you out there confused and somewhat lost. Forget what people are telling you and listen to their behavior.

That is awesome advice. You are so right! Thank you! I know I need reminding of this. I'll be thinking of it more now

Thanks for the reminder. It's a lesson I need to keep re-learning over and over again because I am ever hopeful that someone out there will actually mean what they say.
